Two Barn Cats and Two Cows

I finally finished this painting. It had been sitting on the floor against the wall for a few years. I didn’t know what other elements to add or how to. I had been overthinking and feeling fearful of ruining this painting. Frozen. Then I finally threw all caution aside and let go.
The composition needed something. I decided on two cows in the distance and two cats. Both cows seem to be facing off each other in the distant field, and two cats seem to be facing off each other in the foreground.
