Life is a magical curiosity

Curious how the human senses work. I was thinking of someone before I stepped outside to walk to a morning appointment.

While on the trail along Red Clay Creek, I heard rustling behind me, and from the corner of my eye, through the foliage, I noticed someone. My inner-self knew who it was, but my ego wasn’t sure, so I kept on walking.

He caught up to me and we recognized each other. We had a good talk.

We were traveling on the same path to different destinations — he to his studio, and I to my barber, the therapist.

It is so cool how the universe works. It never ceases to amaze me.

Observe the universe with love, and it will respond in kind.

Alice laughed. ‘There’s no use trying,’ she said: ‘one can’t believe impossible things.’
‘I daresay you haven’t had much practice,’ said the Queen. ‘When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.’
— Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Chapter 5
I hope this next chapter feels drenched in magic, the kind that catches you off guard and makes you believe in the impossible.
