IHATPPL

While on our way back from a store, we came up behind this car with the license plate, “IHATPPL”. I think it was supposed to be read as “I hate people”. We thought it was very funny.

I think when we say “I hate people”, what we are really saying is, “I hate ego” because ego has so much loaded baggages — it is always in conflict with self and other egos, it is impatient, judgmental, unforgiving, selfish, entitled, self-centered, greedy, arrogant, narcissistic, always right and others wrong, self-righteous, always finds something to fear, to complain about, and to worry about.

Let’s see — what else. Wow, the more I ponder this, I realize our ego is really loaded. There is so much dead weight.

We give in to it until our intrinsic being of Love is weakened. We drown ourselves. Let’s reverse that and channel all that energy into the Love that is intrinsically in you, your spirit being, your true self.

Namaste, the universe in me recognizes the Universe in you.
