The pumpkin man’s offering

I met the pumpkin man

Under the harvest moon night

I asked him why he is out

Wandering around the patch

He said he wanted to find

Someone to offer his pumpkin

It was a beautiful pumpkin

I graciously received his offering

And I made myself the best pumpkin pie
